Alice and Julius go on a safari in Africa to hunt wild game, but they get very different results.
This was actually the third Alice short created, but it was not released until months later. It was originally finished on February 22, 1924, but Ms. Winkler was not satisfied with it so it was sent back to be improved. In October 1924 some live action was removed and some animation was redone. It was then released to theaters on November 15, 1924. Because of the issues with the film, and to cut their losses, some of the live action footage that was removed was reused later in 1925’s when they created “Alice in the Jungle.”
